Great news, AiM have updated the SmartyCam package to include an external GPS receiver and the best thing is the price has remained the same. This means that camera placement can be purely based on the best video angle rather than worrying about GPS reception. It also makes the management of track lap markers much easier for those people with ECU bridges or AiM loggers. When combined with the forthcoming updates to Race Studio to allow SmartyCam footage to be viewed alongside data this will be a fantastic tool for improving driver performance.

All SmartyCams we ship from now will be the later varient, we’re expecting them in by the end of the week.
